How to edit activity ID in P3 without Exclusive access ?

P3 requires to have Exclusive access to the project to edit the activity ID in a multiuser (Network) environment. To do that, you choose File, Open, then mark the Exclusive checkbox in the "Open a Project" dialog box before you going to the project specific screen.
 
However, it becomes annoying to remember to check the box every time even if your P3 was only installed in the local drive. Here is a way to get around it.
 
To allow editing of Activity ID once for all (without checking the exclusive access checkbox every time), you can change the value of ExclForActIDEdit line from 1 to 0 under the [Options] section in the P3.INI file as shown below. The P3.INI file can be found in the WINDOWS directory.

ExclForActIDEdit=0
 
After you made the changes in P3.INI file, you have to restart P3 program to see the effects take place.
